About Kimberly

Kimberly ensures that her audience is more than just an audience- they are engaged participants! Kimberly brings real life experiences to enhance learning.

“Speaking is important to me because I am passionate about mental health, especially in the Black community which is the community I belong to. I know the importance of having someone that looks like me speaking/teaching about mental health and wellness. Communities of Color need to see themselves represented to help further break down stigmas that still surround the mental health field. I want people to feel seen/heard, validated, and equipped to deal with the twists and turns that life can throw their way. I love empowering others and encouraging them to learn about mental health and themselves!”- Kimberly Amazu
